our family weekend

This past weekend was a WONDERFUL weekend, even though it wasn't what we were expecting. The school had planned the annual fall festival for this weekend, but a big typhoon seemed headed this way. On Thur. the festival was postponed until the following weekend. The Typhoon then turned north and didn't really come close...so the weather was beautiful and we had time to take advantage of it! On Sat. we took a long hike up the reservoir near our home. Max was able to stay in the stroller for awhile before he freaked out and had to go in the front pack.. :o)
Then we headed downtown for a Subway picnic in the park. We are so excited that Jack now likes Subway!
After dinner we walked along the harbor and Jack enjoyed looking at the handprints on the "avenue of stars"
Sunday we met Bryan's former room mate Gregg and his brother for Dim Sum after church, yum!
I always love a good snuggle!
A sweet sleep smile caught on camera!
Max: one month old! Bryan had off school on Monday, so we enjoyed him home for an extra day. They had Monday off to compensate for working on Sat, but he didn't have to work either :o) Jack loves having daddy around, and it's always so fun to have us all together.
I took Max for his 1 month visit today. He's gained 1.1 Kg, which is about 2.2 pounds since birth! So, he's now over 10 1/2 lbs! Big boy... I don't know how long since they don't measure, but I will get out the measuring tape this week :o) He was a champ for his shot and the best part was the Jack was really great through the whole process.
